Advise a client on a transaction and find out more about our Financing, Corporate, Competition and Disputes and Investigations practice areas

Welcome to the Slaughter and May Explore Law programme. During this programme, you will have the opportunity to find out more about the firm and the work of our lawyers in four of our main practice areas – Financing, Corporate, Competition and Disputes and Investigations.

In this programme, you will be assisting teams in different practice areas who are advising an imaginary client looking to buy a renewable energy company, and you will be introduced to some of the types of work our lawyers do at the start of their career. The programme encourages the development of important skills and commercial awareness which will give you a better understanding of what a lawyer does across different practice areas and what a career at Slaughter and May entails.

This programme is open to all, but it is aimed at 16-18 year olds and those just starting to explore a career in commercial law. No legal knowledge or previous work experience is required.
