Think like an IT Architect at BCG: analyze, design, and plan real-world digital transformations

Step into the world of IT architecture at BCG Platinion. This program gives you the chance to explore how technology, strategy and consulting come together to solve complex client challenges.

Technology sits at the heart of modern business transformation, and IT Architects play a critical role in shaping that future. In this simulation, you’ll take on the challenges faced by our teams, from untangling legacy systems to designing bold new solutions that prepare clients for what’s next.

Across four tasks, you’ll experience the consulting journey through a technology lens:

Reviewing client systems and spotting recurring issuesPrioritizing pain points to focus on what matters mostDesigning future-ready architecture scenariosBuilding a practical implementation roadmap

At BCG Platinion, we help organizations rethink their technology foundations while keeping business strategy front and center. This simulation gives you a chance to practice that balance of technical insight and strategic problem solving, and to see how IT Architects create impact in real consulting projects.

The best part? You’ll get to test your skills in a risk-free, flexible, self-paced environment. You can compare your work with example answers from our IT Architects to see how professionals approach the same challenges.

Disclaimer: Participation in this job simulation is not an employment relationship with BCG or BCG Platinion. It is our policy that you do not list your completion of this program as work or internship experience on your CV, LinkedIn, or any other professional platform.

This program is self-paced. It takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete.
