Wofford offers bachelor’s degrees in various areas such as finance, biology, psychology, humanities, and more. In addition to our various majors and minors, Wofford also offers pre-professional programs such as pre-law, pre-vet, pre-med, and more. Wofford also specializes in a liberal arts curriculum, which prepares students to bring strong communication and critical thinking skills from their liberal arts background into their professional development after they graduate.

In addition to information sessions and tabling events, to make the most of your time on campus, consider hosting a workshop, participating in a panel, or meeting with student organizations aligned with your industry. These interactive experiences can help deepen student engagement and highlight your brand in a more personal way.

To help us effectively promote your visit, let us know who you’re hoping to connect with—specific majors, class years, or student interests—and we’ll tailor outreach efforts to reach your ideal audience.

Bring materials that reflect your company culture, such as flyers, job description pamphlets, internship information, and maybe even some swag! Also, be prepared to speak about your organization’s values, growth opportunities, and what sets you apart from others in the industry.

Business casual attire is typically best for campus visits. However, you’re welcome to dress in a way that best represents your company’s culture.

The Career Center is happy to help facilitate faculty and/or student interactions during your visit with advance notice. If you’re interested in connecting with specific departments or student organizations, just let us know and we’ll make the introductions.

Wofford College is located in the heart of Spartanburg, SC, just 25 minutes from GSP Airport and within walking distance of downtown. Free parking is available on campus, and the Career Center will provide you with a campus map to help navigate parking lots and event locations.

Depending on the field of study, many Wofford students typically seek summer positions. However, many students are open to year-round openings, depending on their class and personal schedules.

During peak recruiting seasons, the Career Center may make recommendations for timelines based on industry and application window.

Wofford students are known for their strong leadership skills, adaptability, and strong writing and analytical skills. Many of our students have international experience through our study abroad program. In addition, many students choose to complete undergraduate research during their time at Wofford. These qualities and experiences make Wofford students strong candidates for career opportunities.
