Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fifth Grade Teacher who feels called to educate and disciple young learners. The ideal candidate will integrate biblical truth into daily instruction, create an engaging classroom environment, and partner with parents to support the holistic development of each student.
Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Classroom Management:
- Develop and implement engaging, Christ-centered lesson plans that align with FCS’s curriculum and values.
- Assess and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
- Maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment that fosters academic growth and spiritual development.

Communication & Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain open, Christ-like communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Partner with parents in the academic and spiritual formation of their children.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Additional Duties:
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other assigned duties.
- Support school-wide initiatives and activities as needed.

- A heart for discipleship and a passion for integrating biblical truth into education.
Professional & Educational Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology, including word processing, presentations, and online grading platforms.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines.
- A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and collaboration.
