The SCO seeks students interested in weather, climate, information sciences, geographic information systems, hazards, and geography.
The intern will analyze climate and weather datasets, update climate and weather products, support basic office operations, and assist with office administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong quantitative skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform independent research
• Working knowledge of GIS
Paid interns are expected to work at least 10 hours a week during the academic year and up to 30 hours a week during the summer. They are required to commit to 12 to 18 months of employment. Unpaid internship opportunities could also be available.
