Job Title: HR Intern
Reports To: Human Resources Director

Job Summary: The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources department with general administration and special projects. This paid internship is designed to provide a learning experience and real-world practical business experience that will jumpstart your career after graduation.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Organize and maintain all HR files. Compile and maintain electronic employee records.
- Process various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department including requests for verification of employment.
- Process incoming mail, invoices, and record keeping for expense tracking.
- Performs research as needed
- Assist HR team with additional duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, high energy, enthusiastic and detail oriented.
- Effective in prioritizing and executing tasks.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies.
- Proficient in Office365 or Google Workspace.

Education/Experience:
- Active student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Administrative 90%
- Walking, Bending, Lifting, and Twisting 10%
