· This position will work with the manufacturing and engineering teams in launching new programs through operations based on lean manufacturing. This role is Monday – Thursday with 8 hour shifts.
Specific Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed)
· Create and update manufacturing documentation.
· Create/Review/Update existing process flow layouts
· Identify, evaluate, and recommend cost saving opportunities by identifying process, quality and safety related improvement projects
· Interact with technical engineers and non-technical operations personnel to integrate new technologies and update existing systems
Requirements
· Classified as actively enrolled in a 4-year Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, and Industrial Engineering or related degree
· 0-1 year of experience preferred.
· Ability to work 4 days a week
· Must have completed your sophomore year in college.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
· Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
· Proactive thinker and self-motivated.
· Strong time, project, and organizational management skills.
· The ability to work independently.
· Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
